Ariel Keene is a worldly woman who loves to travel, having traveled the globe before bringing her talents to HER Resiliency Center in 2022 as a Skills & Strengths Facilitator. A former Community Health Worker for two different non-profit organizations committed to promoting healthy living and community resources, Ariel has studied abroad in London having laid a foundation within her that she has brought to HER showcasing her passion for advocating for underrepresented communities facing systemic oppression. A graduate of the prestigious St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Sociology with a minor in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies, as well as African Diaspora Studies; Ariel is committed to supporting HER peers with one-on-one support and consistent outreach services, connecting women who are in desperate need of harm reduction support.
